1. The Safe-Lock Escrow Protocol
Never pay a seller directly. Always use Dali's Safe-Lock feature. We hold your money securely until you have physically inspected the item. If the item is faulty or not as described, you receive a full refund.
2. Meeting Up
When arranging a meetup to inspect an item, follow these rules:
- •Use Campus Safe Zones: Always meet in public, well-lit, and heavily trafficked areas like the Main Gate, Student Centre, or Library entrances.
- •Meet During the Day: Never schedule a meetup late at night.
- •Bring a Friend: If you are buying a high-value item (like a phone or laptop), bring a friend along for the inspection.
3. Keep Communication On-Platform
Do not exchange phone numbers, WhatsApp links, or social media handles. Dali's in-app chat is designed to keep you safe. If a dispute arises, our moderators can only review evidence if the conversation happened within Dali.
4. Reporting Suspicious Activity
If you encounter a user who asks for an upfront bank transfer, uses abusive language, or lists counterfeit items, please use the Report button on their listing or profile immediately.
