1. Account Eligibility
To use Dali, you must be a currently enrolled student at a supported tertiary institution. You must verify your identity using an official institutional email (.edu.ng) and/or a valid Student ID.
2. Safe-Lock Escrow
All transactions must go through our Safe-Lock Escrow protocol to ensure safety. Buyers deposit funds into the Dali Ledger. Funds are only released to the seller when the buyer inspects the item in person and confirms the release via the app.
3. Fees
Dali charges a 1% service fee (minimum ₦500, capped at ₦20,000) per marketplace transaction, paid by the buyer at checkout. Withdrawals to bank accounts incur a flat ₦50 fee.
4. Prohibited Items
You may not list or sell illegal goods, weapons, stolen property, or services that violate university policies. Dali reserves the right to remove any listing and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Dispute Resolution
If an item does not match the description, the buyer must reject it during the physical meetup and open a dispute within the app. Our support team will review chat logs and evidence to resolve the issue.
